We are highly skilled NASD exam instructors who are veterans of NYSE member firms, the staffs of the nation’s largest independent training schools, and securities industry trade associations.  We know Wall Street, and how it works, as well as anybody.

We were very highly regarded when we were with our former employers.  As a result, friends with the national firms approach us with the idea of us doing classes for them in as many cities as we can cover.

It is true that our partnership is not large enough to be everywhere our clients would like us to be, but we can be in a lot of places.  The thought is that if we can only handle half of what they would like us to do, at least they will know that that half will be handled by the most professional trainers around.

It’s not unlike sending a Broadway play on the road.   There will be a cast that is the best cast available, but they can’t be everywhere.  So the producers send the best cast where they can, and send lesser casts on the other assignments.

The clients are friends, and they understand that we are building a business, so they allow us to invite limited participation from other firms.  The operative word is limited, because they want the seminars to remain small and personalized.

Those who get one of the limited seats find our seminars to be open discussions of what you need to know to pass the exam, as well as what you can afford to ignore.  You will be encouraged to ask questions, to interrupt with something like, “Wait, I didn’t get that, can we go over it again?”

We do not assign homework every evening, because we know that people’s lives are not so organized that they have time for homework.  Instead we feel that the participant is an adult, who will do whatever is necessary on their schedule.  Look at the FAQ section above and you’ll find a link to a discussion of when you should take the test.  Please read it—AFTER you finish reading this page.  There’s a link at the end of the page.

Space in these sessions is strictly limited.  If you are considering taking the exam we urge you to let us know right away so that you might join us while we’re nearby.

We appreciate the value of time, and have designed our courses in such a way that we do not waste your time.  For example, we will give you a handout that reminds you that, “Growth funds are an ideal funding vehicle for a college fund” rather than actually make you sit there and listen to us say it.

On the other hand, because we are long time veterans of “The Street,” we will not only tell you what a debit put spread is, we will talk about who would find it to be an acceptable strategy and why.

In other words, we weave real life into the mind-numbing litany of facts that must be learned.

We are entertaining.  Nothing is more boring that sitting in a training seminar with a leader who simply reads from notes—droning on for hours.  We’ve all suffered through those types of presentations—but that won’t happen in one of our sessions!

Thanks for visiting our website.  We hope you will seriously consider joining in one of our discussion groups in the very near future.
